Health
In Ancient Egypt, there were plenty of abundant sicknesses, the most common probably being the common cold, and that hasn't changed. Eye diseases were very common, which is to be expected because of all of the sand and dust. There were also illnesses caused by bites from scorpions, and so on. The life expectancy was also very low compared to what it is today, being 35 years for a man and only 30 years for a woman, and the infant mortality rate was also very high. This is mostly because of the premature deaths due to diseases that were very difficult to cure, and the illness of the mother when she has a baby. People who bet those odds however, and lived to an old age would most likely face arthritis and bone tumours. Despite this, the Egyptians were very advanced in medicine for their time (although it seems primitive nowadays), but for the diseases that seemed to be incurable, there would be rituals and prayers for that person or people.
